Maan, do y'all know how hard it is to get a damn copy of Across the Universe? I'm gonna go down to 16th Street and see if either the Barnes & Noble or Virgin's got it, because I went to Target yesterday, and they had a full shelf marked off for AtU, and know what was left? Two Blu-Ray discs. Seriously. That's it.

On the upside, I felt real responsible yesterday. I went to class, work, hung out in the honors lounge, got gas, and went grocery shopping. And I can even count it as groceries, because less than half of what I bought was chocolate or pizza!

So, I've got Legacy and history today. In Legacy, we will talk about Adam Smith and his Junior Achievement Principles, and in history we shall...

Oh shit. We've got our discussion quiz today, and I haven't so much as opened the book. *flails helplessly, and then decided to rely mostly on knowledge gleaned from the Alvin Maker series*

...which, speaking vaguely of, THEY'RE MAKING A BATTLE ROOM GAME OMG YOU GUYZ!!!!!!!! Ooh, dude, I hope it's MMO, and that you can join armies and toons and- I'm going to shut up now.

My god, why is there never ANYTHING on TV on Saturdays? Pain in the ass, man, pain-in-the-ass. Thank the lord for On Demand, man. With Family Guy, and South Park, and FOP, and Spongebob. Hooray cartoons!

(Also, dude? I made Jude, Max, and Lucy Sims, and wound up getting them all accidentally pregnant within a few days of each other, and then Lucy died, so now Jude and Max are taking care of four toddlers and two children. It's lolarious!)

So I totally lucked out with my pick of Legacy of Arts & Letters - it seems that the other guy who teaches it this year likes to focus on the Bible, whereas Dr. So puts the focus on Dante for I, and Nietzsche for II. Which, um, awesome much?

In other news, slept over at Julio's last night - she's on fall break, and today she and her family are headed up to Estes Park, so we pushed back our weekly sleep-over by a day. We played Sims 2, and then went and saw Across the Universe (which we might be going to see every week until it's out of theaters; it's an obsession, what can I say), and then we went to Park Meadows mall and wandered around for a bit singing Beatles songs, then we went back to her place and played Sims 2 while singing Beatles songs and watching baseball, and her sister eventually spazzed out on us for the constant singing. And for responding to her text messages with "That's what she said!" (she left her phone in the living room). Also, at one point, she was messing with some Skittles, and tried to put one in her nostril and then get it out with her tongue, and she sooo couldn't, so I showed her how to do it, and then Brad (Julio's 14/15 year old brother) came downstairs, and I was all, "I ate a skittle out of my nostril!" and he went, "Wow, you're cool."

And, um, yes. That's about it.
