Answer de poll! My life depends on it!

I call upon you all to solve a great debate between [info]dragonessasmith! David Monahan has a MySpace. Me and Smithy are obsessed with him. This leaves me a great ethical question...

Poll #952779

Should I send David Monahan a copy of one of my and dragonessasmith's convos about him?

21JS - math. hooray.

Real Life - it's actually more interesting to me than TV! *dies of shock*

Random: Carter's birthday on Saturday? Wanna know the names of everybody there? (We were so white, it wasn't funny.) Lee (aka Meagan), Piper (aka Danielle), Julia, Carter, Derek, Nick, and Christian. Slightly sad.

Right! In other news, I may have obsessive-compulsive personality disorder*. Bob and Carter, at least, think I do (since they were the ones in the discussion at the time). My mom thinks so too. (And everyone pretty much said 'duh' when I brought up the topic of avoidant personalty disorder, which was a little insulting.) Between this and the new discovery that I'm allergic to either apples or beef (don't ask), I appear to be on a voyage of discovery! Or possibly of hypochondria, but since my findings have been supported by those outside my rather hypochondriac self, I'm thinking they're real. And hey, if at least the personality disorders are, then I'll fit in better at Humanex! I'll know after the 30th, that's when my psychiatrist appointment is (I'm also going to ask about ADD, which again: Humanex yay!).

Um, what else... Oh! I'm Carter's semi-official chaffeur now, meaning I get to drive from school to Lowry to home every afternoon. And dudes, if anybody could give me, like, an awesome topic for my research paper, I'll love you forever. Because I so can't think of an actual specific topic to do within forensic psychology, so I went back to trying to think of anything, and can't. I think I'll ask if I could maybe do a research project, meaning I get to conduct actual first-hand research and can maybe incorporate statistics. Maybe something to do with fandom would work, but I'm having issues coming up with a topic - or, basically, a thesis statement.

* = Not to be confused obsessive-compulsive disorder. Never ever. It's more, like, perfectionist personality disorder.

PS: Life may be more interesting to me right now than TV, but that does not cover the news that David Monahan will be on Supernatural - playing a priest, no less. I may die of hotness, then bug people to write Dean/DM's character because OMGPRETTI. Oh, and if he dies, I will kill. Indeed.

CJ - Look Ma!

"Yeah, well, so was Hitler."

Random: Matt Czuchry and David Monahan NEED to play siblings in some movie.

Spoilers for the latest NCIS )

In other news, I get my Sims 2 Pets tomorrow. Party in my eyesocket! If you don't get the reference, then that is incredibly gross to you. Those of you who DO get it, though, are probably at least smiling.

And in the mean time, guess what arrived today? That's right, the Mostly Unfabulous Social Life of Ethan Green! Now I just need to figure out how to screencap it. Oh, duh. My old program got scrapped in the great reload of '06, so I have to re-illegally download it. Um, I mean, reinstall it through totally legal means. Yes. Indeed. Anyway, once that's done, I guess I'll go through and cap it at least for David Monahan, since there exists no caps of it out there yet (as far as my admittedly limited Googling told me, anyhow).

David Monahan is yum.

A&E showed the "Elephant in the Room" episode of Crossing Jordan today! I adore that episode, man. "Get some sleep, you look like crap. I got this covered."

...Oh man. I just had a horrible, terrible thought. Matt Seely? Could totally be related to Shawn Spencer from Psych. Or at the very least, be friends. And what is it with me and wanting to write obscure crossovers? Sigh.

Anyway, the episode also reminded me that I need to go see the Mostly Unfabulous Social Life of Ethan Green. Because I need to see David Monahan on the big screen for longer than the three seconds he got on Something New.

21JS - Duh!

RL updates + yet another bizarre crossover idea

We leave tomorrow morning for our trip! Tomorrow night we'll stay at South of the Border (which I adored as a kid; barely remember it now, hope it's still awesome), then on Monday we'll reach Joe's. I'll stay the night as his place while the family stays at a nearby hotel, then we'll leave in the morning. We should get to St. Augustine by the end of Monday, and we'll be there for about four days. Then drive down to Disney for a WEEK! RAWK ON.

In other news, my mom got that "Big Brain Academy" game. I did the test, and got a D+ with the brain type of "fashion stylist. Obv., this is hilariously wrong, so I retook the test. Got a C, with the type of "diplomat". Well, okay then. Sounds good to me!

I'm all packed, except for my laptop (which I am on) and my Nintendo DS, which I will be playing until I feel like sleeping. Probably. Maybe. I dunno.

And in today's edition of "Why me and my cousins (mostly Kirsten) should never hang out"... we have a planned 21 Jump Street/Doctor Who crossover! Yes, you read that right. Those of you who are long-time fans may remember the still-planning 21JS/Stargate SG-1 story and Wonderfalls/SG1 story. These are still not written. But the 21JS/DW story idea? SO much better! Because it's based on the idea that Captain Jack and Tom Hanson? Same person. Hells yeah.* After he regains his memories (long story), he introduces himself as Captain Officer Tack. Because.

Oh, and to my David Monahan fangirl homies - I got Something New on DVD, so I'll totally be screencapping his (way too short) appearence!

* For those wondering how we got this idea... I saw a picture of Jack in his first episode, with the WWII haircut? And I was all, "Hey, he looks just like Hanson in the first episode of Jump Street!" And Kirsten stared at it and agreed. We then found a picture of Hanson from said episode, and put the two side-by-side. And DAMN, whoa, but yes. They totally look alike. CREEPY.

CJ - Golden Boy

Two random links + new shows I like the sound of

http://johnfreemanjohnfreemanjohnfreeman.ytmnd.com/ = Best. Damn. Thing. EVER OMG.

http://www.livejournal.com/stats.bml = Interesting. The age bell curve is not surprising at all.

NEW SHOWS FOR TO BE WATCHING, YES? (barring schedule conflist with existing must-watches, of course)
Heroes: Great premise + Forrest from Buffy. DONE DEAL.
The Black Donnellys: Great premise, Irish guys, + KIRK ACEVEDO + GUY WHO PLAYED CONNIE ON LOCI = FUCK YEAH, Y'ALL!
Kidnapped: Eh, sounds interesting.
20 Good Years: Fuck the premise, it's got JAKE EFFING SANDVIG! HELLS YEAH, Y'ALL!
The Nine: It's up against NY, so it's probably a download thing, but it sounds damn interesting. Also, I have a freaky crush on Tim Daly (effing Wings).
Jericho: Sounds interesting, and it has two actresses that I think are great - Coleman from NCIS and Asha from Dark Angel.
30 Rock: I love me some Tracy Morgan.
Big Day: It sounds awesome.
Six Degrees: I once read a fic with this vague premise. Well, actually, two. I think it'll be cool.
Raines: Noir, humor, and intrigue. I'M IN!
Day Break: Groundhog Day, in action-adventure-series form.
Traveler: Hot guys + conspiracies FTW!

And FOX and CW haven't released their new shows yet. Daaaang. Of course, about half of these are midseason replacements if other series do badly, so... Probably won't see them until summer, if ever.

EDIT: for once, Google Alerts DIDN'T bring me news of David Monahan, lawyer guy. It brought me news of the actual actor! http://www.c21media.net/news/detail.asp?area=1&article=30500 PS to self: make sure to buy Something New, as has DM in it and I need shiny screencaps.

#s - Colby's like me

Amusing stuff, Chuck E. Cheese, In Justice, and Numb3rs.

Things that amuses me, Today's Edition: I have David Monahan as a Google alert, right? Well, it turns out that David Monahan is the name of a Massachusettes Assistant Attorney General. Guess where Crossing Jordan takes place? Hee!

Also:
7510 Parkway Dr.
Littleton, CO 80124

(The address of the Chuck E. Cheese I'm going to tomorrow, 8PM-11PM, for Katie's b-day party. I NEED TO WRAP HER GIFT!!!! I got her this big book of Broadway, full of color pictures, too. I'm tempted to get her the Veronica Mars soundtrack, too, but she'd just roll her eyes at me.)

By the way, Harry Potter roleplayers of GreatestJournal: next person I see using ORLANDO EFFING BLOOM to play MARCUS FLINT gets shot. I really, really mean it. I'll kill 'em. Kill 'em DEAD.

I'm watching I Love Toys, waiting for the new In Justice, and WOW. NOSTALGIA. Remembering the pepper juice in the squirt guns, my Hot Wheels, and my bike (I was totally the first in the neighborhood

Spoilers for the latest In Justice, "Badge of Honor".
'You don't call, then you show up when I have a gun in my hand? Bold.' )
Spoilers for the latest Numb3rs, "Mind Games".

CJ - Smile

Random, + Something New

Hee. I'm watching a Law & Order episode where the bad guy is a mob-connected guy named Bumpy.

SO reminded me of Thumper (and, hell, Bootsy) on Veronica Mars.

Me and my mom went and saw Something New after school today. It's hilarious, and awesome, and unlike most romantic comedies I wasn't hiding my face and cringing for half the movie as the characters embarass themselves. David Monahan had only a tiny bit part, like one or two lines, but damn: he looks hot in a suit. Mm.

(PS: This chick on the L&O episode looks like Gia from VM. Creep-eh. ... oh. It looked like her because it WAS her. Heh. Fancy that. AND BRISCOE JUST SAID 'COHONES'!)

CJ - scrubs

Wow, I'm bored. And I ramble about David Monahan more than is healthy.

Fun fact of the day: my first real music video (I do not consider my POS Harry Potter/Bourne Identity/Highlander video set to "Walk Through the Fire" that I made in ninth grade to be a REAL music video) I ever made? Ended with a shot of David Monahan. Oh yes. Yes indeed. From the Angel episode "Players".

I was obv. destined to be a David Monahan fan. Is destiny. *nods*

In other, less geekier news, it is now February 1st. Making it EXACTLY one week to go until the school ski trip (I shall be tubing). We're supposed to meet at the school at six to get on the bus, and we should be back at six. Oh, and it's a two and a half hour bus trip. TWO AND A HALF HOURS! AND I CAN'T READ ON BUSES! Maybe I'll take the DVD player. That'll be good for one of the trips. Maybe I could get a power pack or something, so I'd be able to use it all trip long. But whatever should I watch? Veronica Mars is the default answer, but Bob'll still have my DVDs (I bet anything he will). Highlander... eh. Oz... bad idea to watch while on a bus with twelve year olds and teachers. 21 Jump Street? I still haven't watched the last episodes of the fourth season. That'd work!

In other, more geekier news, it is now February 1st. Making it two days until Something New is released in theaters, and I get to see David Monahan on the big screen. RAWK!
