So, my mom couldn't find seats on the same discount flight for the both us for this summer, so she'll go out the day before her birthday, and I'll arrive at 10.30pm on her birthday.

(FYI: we're going out because my aunt's having hip surgery, so we'll be taking care of her and my twin cousins. And their two Italian greyhounds, lord.)

Now! I traded in all the games and stuff that I haven't thought of in a year or two, and got a bunch of games for my PSP (and My Chinese Coach for DS - I don't know why I wanted that).

Oh, and I love Watchmen. LOVE.

So, for the last week or so I've been eating scrambled eggs, bacon, and toast after midnight. I don't know why, but damn it's delicious!

In other news, I have been buried in reading random-ass genres of fanfiction, and am more susceptible than normal to commercials for TV shows. I saw one for a show or TV movie or something, and saw Ellison from the Sentinel, and was all, 'I should read some Sentinel fic...' Or, when I wasn't paying attention, I caught a flash of long hair, and was all, 'Is that Christian Kane?!' And it was, as it appears he's one of the stars of that TNT show my mom's all over. I'd watch, but... I'm still burned over Wanted, man. I loved that show!

Oh, and Lost in Blue 2 is addictive. Especially now that I've figured out how to work the traps without completely failing at life. But now I have to collect enough squirrels to make a bunch of lunchboxes, so I can take Amy over to the raft and we can discover more of the island! But our chicken will surely die in the meantime! And what about the treehouse? I gotta build that shit too, but damn it it's so many ropes and logs!

...I'm going to go now. I want some eggs.

Dudes, Fable 2 is awesome. I played it for three hours last night without even realizing it. Sure, due to my misguided attempt at budgeting, I currently have three dollars to last me until payday, but it's so worth it.

I totally decided to play as a chick, and I married a gypsy and we already have a kid! Her name is Vicky. I wonder how many kids I can have before the game kicks my ass...

Oh, and I should probably kill things too. Yeeeah...

To any of my friends out there who are not yet in college... I wish to tell you one thing: NEVER PROCRASTINATE. Especially not in a workload heavy art class that means you're spending six hours straight slaving over two large drawings because you were too stupid to do them any sooner than two days before they're due.

It doesn't help that I just got a XBOX 360 and found my PSP, either.*



* = as an aside, yes, I totally can now play any game ever made in the last number of years except for PS3. Er, and some PC games that require a good graphics card. Which means two things: I need to save money to trade in my PS2 for a PS3, and I need to go down to Falcon Computers and see how much it would cost to upgrade my graphics card. Yesss... But after Fable 2 comes out, so I don't attempt to spend my Fable 2 money on a new graphics card.

...okay, I downloaded it a few hours ago, and Spore already owns my life. Jesus. This shit is addictive, man.

Anyway! As I am now nineteen and in my final year of teenage hood, I've decided to have a little last act of 'teenage rebellion' (only not really, because my mom's totally behind it). So! On the upside, I felt real responsible yesterday. I went to class, work, hung out in the honors lounge, got gas, and went grocery shopping. And I can even count it as groceries, because less than half of what I bought was chocolate or pizza!

...so, um, I just spent four and a half hours playing Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix on Wii. My hands are freezing, and because I stood still for so long, my leg feels all weird now. But damn, it was fun!

Oh, and any of y'all remember Sky High? Yeah? Remember Zack, who was adorably a loser? Yeah, here's his character description for the next Disney Channel original movie: Nicholas Braun as Zeke Thompson, that guy who can make anything in shop class and make you shut up with one icy stare. Tall, dark, and mysterious, he happens to be just the guy Virgil and Charlie need to join the Minutemen and build the time machine. Handy in a crisis, and always ready with a snappy comeback line, this rebel with a cause will do everything he can to keep time on their side. Rough around the edges, but smooth with his female admirers, he's a character you'll grow to like and respect--or else.

YES! Today has been a day of discovery. I finally figured out the name of the one Hallmark movie I've ever lover: What the Deaf Man Heard. God, I LOVED that movie. The ending was so freaking awesome. And I totally didn't realize that all these actors were in it - if I remember correctly, I thought the priest was hot. Between this and Sliders, Jerry O'Connell was an early love of mine.

Hm. The movie is accessible. It shall go on my list next to the games 'Zoombinis Legendary Journey' and 'Seven Kingdoms: Ancient Adversaries'. God, my childhood. I remember it like... well, like it was about ten years ago. Lookit that!

Also, I've downloaded a tonne of games from the 1980s. I so psyched!
