HP - for teh lulz?

In which I'm rather random about sports and school and fanfix

Dude, SNL was on tonight. Tho I might just be saying that because Dane Cook is annoying me with his MLB promos that never feature the Rockies, and because I'm still giggling over the WTFery of Punching People in the Face Right Before They Eat (ZOMBIE DANCE!).

In other news, Rockies are goin' to the World Series, dawg. Watch it! I mean, no team has ever come back from being beat at home for the first two games, so we are so taking the Diamondbacks. And then we'll take the Red Sox or the Indians (whoever wins that set). I mean it this time! I've been in Colorado for the Broncos winning the Super Bowl (twice), and the Avalanche taking the Stanley Cup (and the high-larious song parody "The Devils Went Down to Denver"), and now I'm going to be here for the Rockies taking the World Series. IT WILL HAPPEN!

...and oh my lord, I just realized how insane I've gotten about sports lately. It's in the air, dude, that's my only defense.

Dude, the Invisible is coming out on DVD soon! That was a totally kick-ass movie. Even tho Julio and I totally missed the opportunity to go see him live in Boulder back in August. Sigh.

In other news, I'm switching majors. Again. To history! Because Metro has kick-ASS history classes, dude. Imma try and take one of them next semester. Like Imperial Russia or something. History of Ancient Egypt? Mebbe. Who knows!

In other other news, I may have just started another Sky High fic. Um. I blame the fact that Julio is writing Chad/Ryan High School Musical fic.
Wonderfalls - charming

Um, I feel like spammin' y'all, so here's another entry of randomnessosity.

First: I applied for a job in the Aurora Public Schools. It's a before/after school assistant position at Dartmouth Elem, which is srsly like, a few blocks away. I'd rly like to get it; it's a job working with kids, and it won't cut into my hanging-out-wid-Julio time or primetime TV! Or class, for that matter. And it makes me laugh that my thoughts went friends-TV-school.

Second: ...oh my god, I totally forgot what I was going to put here. OH WAIT! I found a bunch of videos of me as a kid, and wow. I was kindof obnoxious and very strange and I'm surprised that my parents didn't think I was autistic. Because it appears that the first two and a half years of my life was me being dead silent and doing things over and over, very intensely, and the next two and a half years was me babbling about anything and everything and giggling like an idiot... while doing things over and over in a strict routine. I mean, one of them was of me riding my bike (no training wheels, I got rid of those before I was three - and I do mean that I got rid of them, because I was tired of the older kid in the culdesac calling me a baby, so I took a wrench into the garage and tried to take the wheels off), and I had to line up the pedals just right before getting on, and had to get on from the left at all times.

What to take, what to take...

That's right, schedules are up for Spring 08. And there are waaay too many classes I want to take. So what am I going to do?

Obvious, I'm going to ask you guys what to take. I'm thinking two classes Monday/Wednesday, two classes Tuesday/Thursday. It's a good schedule. So...

Poll #1071420 Classes, Spring 08

Monday/Wednesday - what shouldn't I take?

Legacy II (11.30-12.45)
Applied Anthro (1.00-2.15)
World of Islam (2.30-3.45)

Tuesday/Thursday - what shouldn't I take?

Physical Anthro & Prehistory (2.30-4.10)
World History to 1500 (4.00-5.15)

Note - Legacy is required for honors; Physical Anthro is required for my anthro minor; and World History is required for my history major. Applied Anthro and World of Islam are both electives for my minor and major.
