Then we sneaked into the super-uber-rich area, and went trick-or-treating there, while making many comments about how they could smell that we were part of the great unwashed. At one door, when we went "Trick-or-treat!", this old guy was all, "What's my treat?" I go, "Oh, you get the trick?" "Okay, what's the trick?" Me and Julia can't think of anything, so she suddenly blurts out, "Kick you in the shins!"
Afterwards, we drove back to her house, and we and her little sister did the 'look at candy and trade undesirables' routine. And Leslie (her sister) doesn't like Kit-Kats, and did like all the weird peanut-related things I got, so I totes got a bunch of extra Kit-Kats. Then we watched the Daily Show and the Colbert Report, and then I left to stop by King Soopers on the way to the NaNoWriMo kick-off.
Which, by the way, rawked hardxcore. The South Denver group is super-cool, guyz. Although possibly a little too music-savvy and anime-savvy for one such as me... Oh well, I'm being enculturated! Which isn't a word. Damn it. (Not that this has ever stopped me before.)
So, I've got a bit of my Nano written. Only problem in regards to posting it? As much as Ryan loved to use parentheses, Zack loves to use footnotes. It is on rare occasion I can type more than two sentences without adding a footnote. But I shall figure out the HTML for it! I shall! I can do it! I promise you all!
...also, how is it that "Like A California King" is the only Everclear song I have on here? I used to love that group.
1. Open your music library (iTunes, Winamp, Media Player, iPod, etc.).
2. Put it on shuffle and press play.
3. For every question, type the song that's playing. When you go to a new question, go to the next song.
4. Don't lie and try to pretend you're cool.
