"Looking at the World From the Bottom of a Well", Mike Doughty. Hey, this totally works! Mellow, and the lyrics fit pretty well.
"Macarena", Los Del Rio. Well. Sure. Although, if I wake up actually doing the Macarena, there will be hell to pay.
First Day at School:
"Ringa Ringa", A.R. Rahman feat. Alka Yagnik & Ila Arun. Works as a 'stranger in a strange land' type of intro. Which, given how I often felt at school, works great!
Falling In Love:
"Green Eyes", Roonil Wazlib. Yes, I have wizard rock on my iTunes. What of it? Anyway, this soooo works. Sooo.
"The Delicate Place", Spoon. COUGH. Wow. iTunes is being kinda creepy.
"Mayday!!!", Flobots. Okay, yeah. iTunes is freaking me out now, because this works perfect, again.
"On My Mind", New Found Glory. Okay, it doesn't work quite perfectly, but it can quite easily be seen as a breakup.
"Make You Feel Better", Red Hot Chili Peppers. This is the perfect prom song... for the other group at prom, not my group. My group was far too goofy - running around in our stocking-feet, trying to keep Julia and Grace from burning the place down, hanging off of the gate door, twirling the flyers and hogging the boxes of Dots from the candy bowl, and then playing 'keep the balloon off the floor' after most everyone else left. And then walking through the Taco Bell drivethru (because the 'rents wouldn't let us have IHOP at 2am).
"Nobody's Hero", Dropkick Murphys. Fits my life, at least.
"See No Evil", Television. Well, the song def seems rather breakdown-y, to me at least.
"Mambo No. 5", Lou Bega. Hahahahaha, yessss. This song is great to drive to!
"In the Darkness", Kane. Definitely got that melancholy feel down.
Getting Back Together:
"The Voice", The Moody Blues.
"Voices Carry", Vitamin C. So... secret wedding? I hope it's in Vegas, I want Elvis to marry me.
Birth of a Child:
"I Wanna Be", Emma Roberts. Well, if that's the baby singing... creeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeepy. I don't want a Renesmee baby!
"From Here On In", The Living End. I never thought of it before, but this song really does work for a battle scene. Especially final battle - it's got an air of finality to it.
"Back to Me", The All-American Rejects. So I think this marks the first time ever that one of these memes has actually fit the songs that popped up. Crazy.
